Lifelong learning is an essential part of not only this life, but the life to come. In the Doctrine and Covenants, it states that whatever intelligence we gain in this life will rise with us in the resurrection. Learning is a vital part of Heavenly Father's plan for us. The quotes all discussed how important learning throughout our lives is. It brings light into our lives and drives away the power of the adversary. We should be constantly making efforts to learn both spiritual and secular truths.
RSS feeds are an extremely useful tool that will help me in my lifelong learning. One way that RSS feeds can help is by helping me keep up to date with the latest health information. I can subscribe to sites like the CDC and WHO and recieve the newest health reports available.

Blog #1
Setting up this blog was, fortunately, a lot easier than I expected. I have never had a blog before and don't consider myself very technologically savvy, but it went quite smoothly. I watched the tuturial in one browser while I followed the instructions in another. I just paused the instructional video after each instruction and completed the task in the other browser. I think that having this blog will actually be pretty fun!
I hope that this class will give me a wider range of skills and capabilities relating to technology that I will be able to use in my classroom. We live in a technology era and, as such, technology is a great way to reach one's students on a level that they are more likely to understand and be interested in. I hope that by the end of this class I will feel a lot more comfortable using multiple modes of technology.
